This flood came fast and hit within a minutes of a huge thunderstorm.
Neighbors walked the village seeing if they could help out anyone
that maybe
in need of moving things from their barns and garages.
One neighbor almost lost his hound dogs but saved them
just in the nick of time time.
A bull frog was sitting on the bank of the creek running
through Nineveh taking a break from the rushing waters.
Farther down the road was a couple baby snakes.
One not hit by traffic was moved to the side of the road.
He was barely alive and seemed to be gasping for air.
Even the critters seems to be in shock over this quick flood.
The last time we experienced this type of flood was back in 2007.
Before then we were told it hadn't flooded like that in over 100 years.
It's good to be prepared for flooding and have boots and rain gear
on hand.
